“Exile: Notes on a Discontent That Does Not Pass” is a play by the Legítima Defesa collective that explores the experience of exile of Abdias Nascimento and his relationship with Augusto Boal, based on the poetics of these two intellectuals. It is a “transcreation of poetics” that seeks to rescue the memory and voice of these artists in a context of opposition and resistance.
