Part of the doctoral research 'Every gap is a space for listening', which aims to open spaces and gaps in the Portuguese Colonial Archive, based on the book 'Unlearning Imperialism', by Ariella Aisha Azoulay.

Artistically provoked to unlearn Imperialism and sustain the gaps in history, highlighting its emptiness and silences, this video installation was developed from the documentary film made by António Lopes Ribeiro, which records the Exhibition of the Portuguese World, in Lisbon (1940). Photos were taken from the film 'still' dand at times, these images were printed as postcards, altered, and displayed in such a way that the composition changes in loop.
