Artistic and essayistic work commissioned for the exhibition 'Meta-Archive: 1964-1985: Space for listening and reading stories of the dictatorship', held at Sesc Belenzinho from August 22 to November 24, 2019.
Beiguelman translated the text, previously unpublished in Portuguese, An archival impulse, by historian and art critic Hal Foster, published in the American art criticism magazine October.
In his publication, named August, Giselle asks based on the work of three Brazilian artists, Bruno Moreschi, Bianca Turnere Tiago Sant'ana, the historiographical impulse, which would take the artist of the contemporary Global South back to history and to the (re)processing of documents.
