In three acts, AMÉFRICA has a fragmented but complementary narrative. Act 1: The Tattooed Scar, written by Claudia Schapira, is an online film that viewers must watch beforehand. Act 2: The Resumption, is an intervention play written by Aldri Anunciação. Act 3: The Storm, written by Dione Carlos, is a performative, counter-narrative intervention that combines video installation, music, dance, mixtape, theater, and performance. The play also includes video interventions – with reproductions of speeches by intellectuals and artists, as well as dialogues with other artists.​ “The idea of ​​'Confluence in Retomada' is the metaphor of the show itself, our role is to locate it in a space where the tensions of our society are revealed, in which black and indigenous people still struggle to escape genocide and structural racism, seeking to recover dignity and freedom in a colonial system that is constantly updated”, explains director Eugenio Lima.
