The Cross is found on the beaches of the entire Brazilian coast as a territorial imposition, of catechism and conquest. To be considered human, one would have to be civilized and, for that, catechism. I am interested in reversing the memoryicide. What if, instead of erasing indigenous and black records, there were the erasure of the Cross? What worlds could exist if there were no Crosses on our coast? What formats, what freedoms, what languages, what colors would exist in this same territory? The video 'what would become of this Earth if, instead of?', is the result of these questions. In it, I erase the crosses from historical photographs, producing in this erasure, a drawing that would be a non-Cartesian utopian map, which traces other lines, other encounters, other narratives and possibilities, in the place where the Cross is absent.
